Works great for Pet food. 13lb bag size easily fits (probably be able to get 20lb) and the Lid makes easy access for getting a hand inside to scoop with a cup or scoop. Edit: Meant to say it is very durable plastic unlike typical "pet food" containers should last 10-20 years indoors. More like rubbermaid. I do keep the food in the original bag as I do not know if it is BPA free though.

These Charcoal Caddy containers are not BPA-free. Try Vittles Vault products for BPA-free, durable, and relatively inexpensive pet food containers made from food-grade plastic.
