I have this drill and it is perfectly fine for most household use and a good value at $40 including battery and charger. More modern drill/drivers now have one-handed chuck operation (twist the chuck with one hand instead of holding one ring on the chuck with one hand and twisting with the other). The newer design makes it far easier to get a tight grip on the bit. This one has now been relegated to a backup tool as my arsenal has expanded but still gets occasional use as it is small, lightweight, and can use the Porter Cable battery packs.
