How to Train your Dragon. Just needed to watch something light, happy, and didn't try to preach at me or sell me anything.

The new Aladdin. It was okay. But they tried way to hard to keep to the original story and fit in all the right lines. Although, I preferred the different way Jasmin was portrayed.

Just rewatched Children of the Corn (1984) to get into the Halloween mood. It just wasn’t as good as I remember it being when I was 10. The high points all just seem mediocre at best, and the acting suffers the most. Peter Horton & Linda Hamilton are fine, but when a cast revolves so much around children they could have taken more time to cast goo actors instead of just creepy-looking kids.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Found it unexpectedly boring. The last 5 minutes of the movie were about the only part worth seeing, imho.

Ad Astra. Just OK. Simple premise extended into a longer movie format w/contrived action sequences...
