Ben you need to correct and update this description please.
I call AWFUL DEAL and an insult to anyone who can google for > 1minute! (Bah Humbug).
This is NOT an Apple keyboard - it is modeled on the same form factor and general look as the Apple MC184LL - the description even says it is not the Apple keyboard..
What this is: A generic no name brand keyboard probably running the same BT chipset all the other no name brands run, that will work with Android, IOS, Windows and MacOS systems - I've seen lots of them around - doesn't make it bad, and the multi platform support I think makes it pretty useful.
What is bad is the price - a quick hop skip and dance over to will show you countless generic lookalikes - one I just pulled up was $9.99 for what seems to be the same thing. So NOPE - not in anyway tempted by this deal. Also check out the reviews (not stellar) on the lookalikes.
On parity with Apple's product.... I would be surprised if it were the same quality as the Apple keyboard and would worry that not all Apple keys would be the same / keyboard feedback would be subpar.
I used to use the Apple keyboard on which it was based and loved it - easy to type on, looked good, reliable, loved that my mac would tell me when the battery was low and it was 100% reliable for years, right up until I couldn't get the battery lid off - guess my batteries must have leaked or some such. Still haven't chucked it out in the hope that I will some day get that damn battery end off.
So if you're looking at this keyboard, it's a generic and I'd price shop first - $27 doesn't seem like a deal, especially when the name brand Logitech K480 (admittedly no Silver version, but there is white) is regularly on sale for $20. Far safer bet IMHO.
The K480 btw seems event more useful and the reviews on it look consistently good for PC, Mac, IOS you name it, with 3 devices being selectable.
