We already have AT&T and they bought my wife's iPhone XR back for $800 in credit. Great deal!

T Mobile coverage is horrible where I live. But also, my current AT&T plan is a better value for my usage, and they don’t offer it anymore, so in the long run this would be a bad deal for me.

I own all things apple. I hate the price of their products and it’s definitely over rated. With that said, apple products are so smooth. Something androids and other phones can’t seem to replicate. Upgrade to the newest phone if you can. Phones have like 7-9 years before apple makes them obsolete. You buy this and you only have like 4 more years left to use it before it either slows down or can’t use any newer features

Isn't this basically free money if you can swing the upgrade? Just pay the phone off and sell on
    eBay
    if you don't want it?

"unlimited plan service" will cost you $2,340 for the 36 months. Cheaper to buy the phone outright. If you can get by with 1GB a month of data, a yearly plan at Tracfone cost's $17 a month with unlimited text/minutes and 1GB of data a month that's $612 for 3 years.
