^ Many of those 1 egg reviews do mention no grounded outlets but if you need grounded outlets why would you buy it then complain? It's billed as a network ups and most modems, routers, and switches don't use a grounded cord or ac/dc adapter.
I bought one of these several weeks ago and it is older stock but had the battery replaced recently. I checked the battery voltage before charging and the battery was still mostly charged. When I tested its output, it worked well. There is a sticker on the end of the box stating the battery was refreshed in 2017. I'm using it to keep my security cams and recorder working during brief power outages.
Just get a APC BE600M1. Takes the skinnier RBC154 battery & yes you can wall mount this and it has 1 USB port. Avoid the POS BE425M. I think this is the BGE90M, for stuff like modems, hubs, switches...? No?
I bought a similar one (without the USB outlets) a couple months back. The APC factory specs printed test sheet inside dates back several years. ~5 The box original seal was broken. An email from new egg said these were "old stock" & they were not able to establish WHEN OR IF the refreshed had been done. They had no clue whatsoever about this issue. I was referred to APC and sent them my concern, but, they took several weeks to respond with a "we're sorry it took so long, how may we help you?" LOL
This is all about the battery. If the battery is not "fresh" and dated accordingly, it could last several months or if you are lucky, maybe longer...... The unit does work, but as long as I have been buying APC products, the battery manufactures date has always been stamped one way or another (date code or actual date). This battery had none.
I wish new egg and APC had taken a better response to this, I feel like I have been dealing with a third rate eee bay seller...
