Some sealant and youre good to go. People need to start being little girls about everyrthing and man up
Or perhaps the seller could be honest and not lie? Yeah, novel idea, I know.

This lightbar has only an IP67 rating, meaning that it is dust-tight and water-tight to between 15cm and 1m of water depth under ideal conditions. Unfortunately, mounted to a moving, vibrating vehicle is NOT within the definition of "ideal conditions" so I wouldn't waste my money on this for automotive applications. The time and money you would spend reinforcing the seals on this light (which would void the warranty) would be be better spent on something of better quality to begin with.
I ordered one to use as a handy work light for when I work on my car - especially when I go underneath. The slim profile is great for that ...so it'll be indoors all the time. Can't go wrong for $20. I'll just hook it up to alligator clips and run off the battery.
