We bought one of these late last year for the same price. When it works, it is great. The problem is that the wireless drops constantly, and I have to reboot the device. It will usually last for about two hours, then the trouble starts. Amazon recommends getting the external micro USB-to-ethernet adapter to all of the people having this common problem with the device. We just replaced it with a Roku, and it works great. - jaygeedubbya
With a decent router, this works more reliably for my than my TiVo mini, streaming over cable. Speed tests well over 50 Mbs.

I have two of the 4k sticks and one none 4k stick and none of them have had issues with lagging or needing frequent reboots. I've how to disconnect power and reboot 4 times in the last year between the 3 of them. (The code hasn't worked the last two times this "sale" was listed.)
https://bgr.com/2020/02/12/fire-stick-4k-amazon-prime-deal-cheapest-price/ Now, for the catch: ’s terms and conditions page is quite vague but it makes it clear that only some people are eligible for this deal. It’s bizarre and quite annoying if you’re not one of the lucky ones, and we have no idea why set the deal up this way. To find out if you can score this special deal, head to the Fire TV Stick 4K page on and check to see if you have a note under the price like the one you see in the screenshot above. If you see it, hurry up and use the coupon code 4KFIRETV at checkout to score this awesome deal. If not, the other deals we mentioned above are both great, or you can save some money on the Roku Streaming Stick+ right now as well if you want 4K and HDR support.
