From a buyer who became educated AFTER making a purchase : 1 STAR :: I bought this for use with my Windows 7 Dell Precision. Unfortunately the system does not recognize the drive. Nor does the manufacturer provide any drivers for it. Upon contacting Adata, this is what they told me, "Installing PCIe SSD to Windows 7 may require additional steps. To install PCIe SSD on Windows 7, first, please visit " Update to add native driver support in NVM Express in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2" page from Microsoft website. You may also find additional information on how to install PCIe SSD from Dell website. You can search this page from your browser "What are PCIe SSDs and how to use them as a boot drive for a Dell PC?"" This is my second bad experience of two with Adata products. Horrible written support materials. Even worse tech support. Their online support portal is so bug-ridden that you actually are unable to use it at all.
All of the half dozen ADATA USB3 sticks I've bought have failed. I know nothing about their SSDs, but my experience with their build quality has not been good. FWIW.
the important thing is that this model is 960gb, usually 960gb size means this was already a failed 1TB drive to begin with. Damaged blocks, so they had to salvage it to 960gb.
