Unfortunately aerodynamics do not help increase the read/write speed of a hard drive.

^ Yeah but it sure is fancy looking, without a big price increase to get there. I'd imagine that makes it more rugged, though at the cost of size and portability.

Please note that USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen1, and USB 3.2 Gen1 are in fact the same specification and feature the same exact performance capabilities.
