Meh... you're most likely getting 2nd gen i5 or worse at that price. Check your intel model number - the processor model will start with the generation (i5 4xxx = 4th gen). I'd say 4th gen i5 would be as good, if not better, than 2nd gen i7... same goes for 4th gen i3 vs 2nd gen i5. There are killer deals here, but it's still used and refurbished.
^ 90% of people won't tax a first gen i5 with a laptop and if anything would prefer lower price and longer battery life... 'tho an SSD in it would relieve the more common bottleneck to typical laptop uses.
