500 lumens is not very bright.
Probably OK to light up a small display, but don't expect to light the front of your mom's house.

^ ?? You never know if generic lumen ratings are accurate, but 4 x 500 lumen lights is plenty to light up the front of a house as a landscape effect rather than trying to make mom think she's being abducted by a UFO.
