So wait...you guys are saying you're not a fan of this one? It's hard to tell ;) Point taken! I was thinking for people who don't live close to a good beer store. $3 shipped to your door is still better than paying $7 a pint at the bar!
My son used to get a year of this for me for xmas. I'm not sure if it was the same company.
At first it was a great novelty.
But by the second or third year they started shipping "out of season" beer. Wheats in the middle of winter, xmas beer during the summer.
Also, every supermarket started stocking 30 kinds of craft beer so we dropped it. Now I get a gift card to pay to fill my growlers.
This has got to be the most "Un-Ben Like" posting I have ever seen on this site! I can go down to a local grocer (who has a fantastic world-wide craft beer selection) and pick any 6 beers for $11.

I received this as a gift about 10 years ago...as mentioned above, great novelty items. I received Sapporo and other interesting "non-bud-or-miller" type beers. However, like Pete posted, the out of season stuff was a waste, as was the occasional "tripple bock with chocolate and peppermint" that sat in my beer fridge taking up space until I could dare a buddy to drink them. Nowadays, as so many have colorfully pointed out, craft beers are everywhere. I don't see this business being around much longer.
Now, my "Guaranteed Clean Hookers From Around the World" subscription is a gift that just keeps on giving... :)
