I bought the Groupon too and am also having trouble adding the redbox card to my account. Redbox online chat can't do anything with these, you have to call Redbox support. However, when I called, they said they were still working on it and to wait a few hours....
Same issue here, Redbox supposedly is trying to fix it and said to give them 24 hours when I called. Will give them that then ask for a refund from Groupon.
