Very possibly the DUMBEST name for a product, ever! In case you're wondering, as I was, these get nailed AND screwed onto a 2x4 stud (WHY BOTH??). You then use them to pass cables thru them, instead of stapling the cables to the stud, itself.
Consider them wireways, for building.
