I have two of these outdoors and one indoors. They are great units, especially at these prices. They are even better if you have something as QNAP NAS or PC s/ SW that supports RSTP protocol. With those, you don’t need subscription service. Even still, the free service notifications with short clips for motion playback for 1 week is nice.

By limiting resolution to 1080P, the night videos looks very good. Almost tempted to get two more at these price.

pocket protector moment: Got them today, better than anticipated...it's12VDC (as most are), but I'm gonna rig a boost circuit to run on 5vdc PB, or possibly 3.7 li-ion cell & brush up on my linux NAS/DVR.... TMI?
