I suspect that these will make the camera display a warning about the battery not being a Canon battery so it won't show you your battery life left, right?
It may not. I have one aftermarket battery that came with my 7D2 and it does not display a warning and still gives battery remaining and recharge performance. With that being said, I only use Canon batteries.

Probably. I only use the camera manufacturer batteries, too many stories of aftermarket stuff not working right.
