Anyone who's ordered these before, did they arrive in good condition? I've always had trouble with Prego jar lids getting big dents in the rim, which occasionally break the seal and spoil the contents.
Do the jars shipped to have any sort of lid protection? I've seen other products do this, like a little cardboard hat that soaks up damage to protect the important seal.
I recently ordered a case of 12 Prego alfredo sauce that was shipped in a large box with one 18 inch piece of brown paper for padding. Three of the jars were broken, not just cracked but smashed with the sauce covering every inch of the inside of the box and product. It took me an hour, lots of soap and towels to clean it up. doesn't take back damaged items like that, so it is best to never order anything shipped in glass jars from them. No common sense used in packing because they don't care.
^ Or just take a pic of the carnage and get a CSR to issue a refund, then it's up to you whether to bother washing off the intact bottles to use, or not.
