FYI, teas from China have higher levels of lead than teas from other areas, and when you're ingesting the whole leaf (as in matcha), that's a much bigger concern than if just steeping the leaves. So if you're concerned about lead, stick to Japanese matcha.

1. Organic has nothing to do with naturally occuring lead.
2. They say that they have it tested, but they don't say who does the testing. They don't say what their upper limit for lead is (or if they even have one). They don't even claim to have less lead than their competitors. They claim only that they know how much lead is in their tea (but they won't tell you).
