As a new Amazon Prime perk, the retail giant has just added a new cashback bonus to the Amazon Visa Rewards card. As of today, Amazon Prime members will receive 5% back from purchases made at Whole Foods. Previously, Amazon only offered 5% cashback from purchases made on Amazon.com.

This particular card does not have an annual fee and comes with a $70 Amazon gift card sign-up bonus if you are a new customer. If you aren’t an Amazon Prime customer, you can still take advantage of a smaller reward. Non-Prime customers receive 3% back from purchases made on Amazon.com or Whole Foods.

Other perks on the card (identical to both Prime & Non-Prime customers) include 2% back at restaurants, gas stations and drugstores as well as 1% back on all other purchases.

Amazon also has their own store card that offers an identical 5% back on Amazon purchases in the form of store credit, not cashback. The other difference is the card offers financing options for specific purchases. It also has a bonus for signing up, but it’s only a $40 gift card in comparison to the $70 gift card offered by the Visa card.

Prime Perk Alert: Get 5% back at Whole Foods with Amazon Visa Rewards

This week at Ben’s Bargains, Best Buy offered some of the best discounts we’ve ever seen on new Macbook Airs, with prices starting at $650. The catch: you need to have a .edu address.

On the weekly Xbox One front: we saw a factory refurbished console for under $400 on eBay. Brand-new, the console is currently hovering around $470.
