I've never understood why this is such a hot deal.
Obviously, they move quickly and I'm missing something.
Just as a value proposition, I'm not seeing it?
Is it the warranty? - Rys4k
Depends on your use case. These run Linux Ubuntu well. It's pretty cheap to upgrade the RAM (not soldered) if you want to go the Windows route.
Could be a nice, low power option NAS / NVR for home security cams or just general file access. Some folks turn these into streaming Kodi / Plex boxes or an emulation machine for NES games. Possibly a low cost, basic option for a student desktop / grandparent's computer as well.
Oh Great! Yet another way I can have , and others, know literally EVERYTHING I am doing in my entire life, each and every moment of every single day! I wouldn't buy these, let alone wear them, if they were given to me and $500 bucks included to wear them! Are people really this STUPID?!!! :(
Tip: Go to https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/ and type in the Celeron cpu model. You'll find it does a whopping 36% of the benchmark. The benchmark is 100%, and there are some newer CPU's that do over 100%. So, this is barely 1/3 the speed of a fast computer! Ruff, Ruff, this 'puter is a DOG! You get what you pay for, and $** doesn't give ya much, that's for sure. It's about the speed of a slow Chromebook!
Plus, it's got only 4GB of RAM, and Windows will run on that, but just barely! lol Slow, that'll be a slowing down point once again!
RULE of THUMB: If it says Celeron, run away very fast...lol... :(
