I wanted to like this deal. I bought one a few weeks ago and it looked great, had good audio and then I updated it. After the Android firmware update nothing worked right. Best part there is no physical factory reset option on this HDTV.
I called TCL support and the tech told me it was not just me with this issue and that this firmware had bricked many others too.

it's definitely the Android operating system. I have a TCL on the Roku platform and everything works great. the Android TV acts like it's having a stroke every week
