I got the deal last year for 99 cents a month. It was a good deal, but I don't think I'll renew it though. I pretty much watched everything I wanted to see that they have.

Fine HULU, don't give this to the people that have been paying for your service. Well, time to cancel my account, create a new one with a new email and a new credit card, to get the savings. It's almost $50 Hulu... come on.
Previously when I got the $1 a month bargain, the amount of advertising was horrendous. There were 10 minutes of advertisements for each show. They must ratchet up the ads when they have this promotion to attempt to get people to change to the ad free subscription.
$1.99/month for a year is pretty good, but last year was $0.99/month. Not too much to watch on Hulu for our household, so we'll probably just subscribe for a month at full price whenever the shows we want to watch are available for a full season.

I subscribed mainly so I could binge watch Sleepy Hollow in HD but the ads took away a lot of the enjoyment. The problem was that they repeated the same ads numerous times ..... slow torture!
