The cool factor with these laptop to tablet convertibles gets old quick. Nothing is great about have a Windows OS touchscreen.
I beg to differ. I have not typically been a huge touchscreen guy, and I have preferred Apple hardware and OS; recently, though, I've had to admit that the touchscreen stuff on Win 10 can be really helpful. And there aren't any options in the Apple or Linux universes (well, I don't really know for sure about Linux, but I haven't used one). iPads are great at what they do, but they can't replace a Win 10 or MacOS computer for my work, and iOS file and peripheral management are non-starters for me. Win 10 touchscreens are the only game in town if you want that interface.
