I had one of these. Couldn't set it up through the app and Alexa. Was told needed to call my ISP(!?) to set up modem. Returned it.

I don't know what you did wrong, @lato, but I have 6 of these and they all work beautifully with Alexa (via Kasa app and Deco M9 mesh wifi).

I think I'll go pick up more.

you have to make sure you enable ‘remote access’ on settings in kasa app on each smart plug for alexa to be able to control it. of course you have to enable kasa skill too.
