@Forbidden, how is 3D quality better? The colors are washed out, some people have trouble focusing with those goofy 3D glasses and even give them headaches.

More pixels = better picture
I should of clarified that non-passive 3D is better than 4K. Also many would argue More pixels = better picture because its not always true. That is based on the model TV you buy. TV manufacturers should be jailed because of the scam they threw on customers with 4K technology. My 2013 1080p Series 8 Samsung LED looks better than 80% of the 4K TVs out there. Trust me I work for a Casino and did many side by side comparisons and tomshardware.com will tell you the same. 3D picture pops on my Sammy stereoscopic TV and IMHO kills 4K. But to each their own.
Yes another reason why 3D>4K for me. Watching 3D movies on my Oculus Rift in VR is just crazy. Feels like your in a IMAX theater but stuff popping from the movie screen!
