These are the sorts of things that are used once or twice then donated to Goodwill or show up in thrift stores. I bought one there once for $5 and gave it to a friend who wanted it. She used it exactly twice and then put it away. The traditional hand-cranked models are best, if you're going to use a machine at all. In BLIND taste testings, commercial dried pasta often wins.
