Had the 1080v7's for 6months now, just great shoes. Appear to be the same as the v8. I am a supinator, and these are cushioned support shoes & work just great. Not a running shoe or a walking shoe - but is an in-between of both. While vented, not too bad - works well in the cold. Very very comfortable, especially as they actually make this line in W size, for those of us with Wide feet.
