I literally live in mud (marsh) and the wife brought these for me for $20 or so because the name brand and newer version Wellington boots are pricey.
The is just a basic boot. It definitely doesn't fit like a glove, so if I gto in deep mud it might come off, but for what it is (cheap) it more than does the job. Wear it on the marsh, wear it in snow - as long as there's no ice underneath - the sole is find on soil but useless on ice.
Had them for 3 years - they're still fine and watertight.

At $10, what do you have to lose?
Thank you!
