Unfortunately with tax it makes it $187ish. $160-170 total seems to be lowest for the year with various vendor coupon-promos. Rakuten earlier this year had $38 in points at $192 sale price.

Just built a system with this and love it! My old build was ancient enough that anything would have been a notable upgrade, but the time this knocks off handbrake encodes and the ability to multi-task like crazy is certainly notable! Plus my old CPU was holding back my graphics card and that is no longer the case...but I get to hold off a GPU upgrade for a while in hopes that mid-range card prices drop eventually!
Some 1600s are turning out to be 1700s in disguise, but I don't think it is often enough to count on it or anything. Still a nice little extra core/thread bump for those who get it. The 1600's built-in cooler is good enough for stock clocks or even basic 3.8+ GHz overclocks, which all Ryzen processors support (on B350 or x370 chipsets).
