800 pounds per shelf? IN THEIR DREAMS!! Thin particle board will sag, BADLY, if you try to put 1/4 that amount on any of the shelves.

Do yourself a favor, if you're foolish enough to buy one of these, and go over to your favorite lumber yard or home improvement store, show them one of the particle board pieces, and tell them you need some 5/8" plywood pieces cut, to replace the garbage that comes with this shelving unit. They should be able to measure, and custom cut, from one 4x8 sheet of plywood.
