Good unit for the price. Processor is low range, but fast. I have one in another unit and it works fine!. Loads and plays many games, including new ones. This is a very good price for a desktop system.
If you don't like windows 8 install classic shell, will make your windows 8 computer look and act like a windows 7 system.
Humm a HP rebrand-refurb... so yea probably good stuff I suppose it could be not the worst gamble heck... you get a COA for Win8.
One of their (HP) reversed micro-ATX cases and a 330W PSU, mobo MS-7778 Ver:1.0 (Jasmine). Has 4 ram slots with just one filled with 4Gb, so a lot of room to expand, but it's probably just the bare minimum 1333Mhz, you'd be better off tossing it and getting 8Gb of 1866Mhz. If your Jasmine (mobo) takes a dive after 90 days (warranty) you're in a bad way, because on it's like $230. You'd normally need that same mobo to not have issues booting into Win8. You might get lucky a be able to find a MSI A75 mobo that has a close/workable ID but it's not always the that easy. Although, it used to be you could call Microsoft and get around that, I don't know how that works anymore.
