I fail to see a price markdown on most things I would look for. I've had my eyes on a new Yamaha receiver for some time and see that Best Buy has kept the same price on it as before this up to 75% off in sale ad.
Maybe they have marked down the price on things no-one seems to want...
I clicked a few of the links to see what on sale and it's all old stuff. For example the old style apple cords. Nothing on the sale is anything special.
I submit this be removed from the "hot listed item". Bb has been a place to find real deals not deal on close out items that can be found almost anywhere.

Thanks all for the feedback! You're right that the free shipping, no minimum offer is probably more noteworthy than the stuff they have on sale at the moment. I believe this is the first time they have offered free shipping sitewide (at least the first time I've ever seen it!).
Seriously what kind of loser still shops at Best Buy? They have the worst deals around. I can't believe their B&M stores haven't shut down yet.
And by the way, if you're in California and happen to shop there, when they ask to check your ticket as you exit and inspect your bags, the right answer is "are you accusing me of shoplifting?" and if the answer is no, tell them to go F themselves. I can't stand the way they bully people into believing they have the right to peek inside their bags. They don't. They have a right to ask, but they can't demand it. Fry's does the same thing. It's different in Costco's case, because of their membership club model (you agree to this when you sign up)
Leave your bag in your car. Why are you taking your bag inside a store?
If they are asking to search your bag, it means that theft is high in that store. I too would do the same if you came inside my shop with a bag.
I didn't find many deals, but I did find more smart phone covers than I knew existed. I think AgentK is right, the real bargain is the free shipping. I picked up a wireless mouse for $7 with free shipping.

In other words, you need to find out the assking price.

Not anymore after the competition went to the grave. RIP CompUSA, Circuit City, and Mervyns.... Last one because they had the geek undies
