I don't buy bottle water, I fill the aquarium with this water and my dogs drink nothing but RO, plus the RO runs my humidifiers during the winter months. Plus a ran a line off the system to my ice maker. I fill 2 liter bottles, (apple juice bottles) it ready to go or store
Typical home RO systems use four gallons for every gallon of filtered water, three gallons go down the drain. A very wasteful way for filtered water. - Ima_Cynic
True but the cost equals out, by not buying bottle water, and the bottle water is RO water also. And you can capture the rinse water and use it to clean or water the lawn, etc. I have a 40 gallon tank connected toi the discharge. The tank has a water hose attachment.
