TLC TVs have been great for our family, we have four of them in our house and it's great that we can use the same remotes and the app to control all of them.

Same. I love them. I have also owned "top of the line" TV's, after discovering TLC I will never overpay again. The features and picture quality of the TCL rival what people consider the best brands.
how is tlc picture? I always had Samsung but they cost more - Ni
I checked Rting website to see the rating scores before I bought mine 2 years ago. Everything was great for that price except the gray distribution is not that balanced. If budget is tight, this one is the one to go
I wish they'd bring back "dumb" TVs. I'd rather use a standalone Apple TV (or similar) device for apps.
On the other hand, you can't beat the price here. Smoking HOT deal!
I have had the TCL 55" Class 4-Series 4K UHD HDR LED Roku Smart TV – 55S421 which I think is the same model. The picture is great. But the software does crash fairly frequently now. For instance, I will be watching Netflix and it'll crash back to the Roku screen. Same for some other apps. When it starts crashing a manual restart seems to help for a while. Also, sometimes the TV is unresponsive to the remote but the light flashes on the TV so I know it's getting the signal. However, at the same time, the Roku app on my phone is still able to control the TV. Sometimes the whole system crashes and the TV restarts itself. I keep hoping for a software update that will fix these issues. So far no updates since I purchased this TV in March of 2021.
I got two of them both Roku, about 4 years , no issues except Roku remote, easy to replace from $10, also an Android which I don't like, love the Roku remote, only thing missing is a last channel button for antenna tv, not well advertised but awesome is the guide for antenna tv via the internet looks and works similar to a cable or direct tv, also cool you can use a USB for recording, 90 minutes max loses it if you change channels, doesn't save, would be cool if they partner ed with taboo to inbed a DVR.
