I never buy flash memory from since there are so many knockoffs. You're better off paying a few pennies extra and buying direct from the vendor or from a company who doesn't co-mingle.
I'll also mention: At this point, USB-A is gradually disappearing, and for new flash drives, it makes sense to buy ones which are USB-C or have both connectors. A few laptops already lack USB-A ports, and that will turn from a trickle to a flood over the coming years.
Disagree, I've bought plenty of flash drives from , (sold by, not 3rd party) and never received any counterfeits.
I also do not want USB-C, which is a flimsy, failure prone connector if used too often on rigid things sticking out of the port, in contrast to this style of USB-A which virtually can't break because the connector is the exterior metal shell of the drive.
If it were for a phone, I never get phones without mSD card support (but would consider one in the future if it had plenty of integrated storage) and for the low amount of bulk data I transfer back and forth to a phone, wifi works or could use a good old USB cable, which can also be used on a laptop.
However I do have a few USB-C to -A adapters. They were something like 4 for $2 on Aliexpress.
If the price is too low to believe its probably counterfeit. Like 1TB for $30. Never had a problem with my storage ordering from as long as I use my brain.
