This brand is no Samsung PQ or so the price but they don't go out after warranty expired like SS do. Got a refurbished one for the shop and it on for at least 10 hours per day, 6 days a week. Still doing fine after few years.
^ I've had the opposite experience, my Samsungs have been rock solid but a Hisense locked up over and over, not even using the smart features, even with it turned "off" and then bricked itself due to running out of nvram and couldn't boot. Since these were OS issues, I'd at least avoid Hisense's Android/Google-TV versions.
^In Dec 2022 I bought a Hisense - 65" Class U8H. And was so impressed with the quality and features that I also bought a Hisense - 55" Class U7H in June 2023 as a housewarming ğ gift for my son. Occasionally an app freezes and we need to pull the power cord to reset the TV. Other than that, these sets are excellent. We'll see what I say in another 5 yrs. I'll keep a TV till it dies... I'm in for the long haul. And by the way, the U8H replaced a 65" Samsung with a main board that suddenly died prematurely. That TV was only 3 yrs old. The U8H picture is far superior to the Samsung especially blacks and dark scenes.
