It has a removable top cover for when you want it to allow cooling inside. Of course, that defeats most of the sound deadening.

I just put my case under my desk, can't hear it over ambient noise levels.

Then again, I do prefer and choose among cases that aren't carved up like swiss cheese that causes them to let extra noise out.
