These are useful. Make sure to clean the 3 sided rubber head after EVERY use. If the caulk dries on then it’s going to be uneven and useless. They don’t sell replacement rubber heads.
^ Hmm okay, I always clean everything up right away after caulking or paint or drywall compound, etc., unless I will very soon start back up (like a lunch break) then put it in tightly conforming plastic bags for the time being.
I wonder though, what if you coated it with dry silicone spray ahead of time? That helps to release a lot of things, I do that often when setting epoxy to a shape and want the shape to release after it cures. I'm sure that people more heavily into arts and crafts have a more specific product designed for that purpose but the silicone spray works and I have some, so that's what I use, applied liberally.
