These Optiplex 3040/3060 units come with just ONE empty SATA connection (the other used for the optical drive) and ONE occupied M.2 2280 Gen2 used SSD (compatible with Gen3 limited to 500mbps SSD speed) and one M.2 2230 slot. Quite limited. BIOS is 2019, which should immediately be upgraded to a 2023 BIOS. I've set up as a dual-boot with Linux, but the BIOS keeps resetting to Windoz only every time the power cord is removed and requires a few minutes to reset (using DiskGenius).
