Gifted myself with this. I could only get this to work on the physical gift card, ecard wouldn't take the code using my prime holder email or phone. With the physical one the promo popped up as soon as I added it to the cart. Paid with a normal card. YMMV.

You have to select the Prime Day e-card. Once I changed it to a Happy Birthday one, the code didn't work. :(
