So I give up the 7 or 8.1 that I have already gotten by whatever means and upgrade to Windows 10, deal with all the incompatibility issues, drivers, etc, so I can find out next year how much Microsoft wants to charge me?

Microsoft said you have 1 year to upgrade TO Windows 10, not that you have Windows 10 FOR 1 year. Its like every other Windows, not Office 365.

Windows 10 is going to be epic if they can make it even lighter than Windows 8.1 was, which worked even faster than Windows 7.

Man, that crown is tough! I've fought off small armies that weren't as tough as that crowd. No fanboys at all.

Can't wait to dump Windows 8. But I am not giving up Windows 7. At least not until I see what is going to replace it.

During the first year Windows 10 upgrade will be free (free if you upgrade during its first year of availability); after the first year if you wish to upgrade you will need to pay.

People don't like change, I use 8.1 on occasion and have no issues with it...people can't get XP out of their minds...8.1 I think runs great, 10 preview I have running runs even better btw...

From an installation point of view Win7 is superior to XP, I hated reimaging on XP machines. Whats so good about Win10?
