Does anyone know whether the trade-in value is ONLY applicable to the purchase of a new iPhone, or just an Apple gift card that can be used for anything?
I just received my $200 Apple Store Gift Card. They gave me a quote of $200 for my very used iPhone 5 16GB Black Locked to AT&T about 14 days ago. They sent me a box for free and all I did was ship them back just the phone (no accessories) and boom!
I have one of those fabled unlimited data plans so an Apple gift card really does nothing for me... you can only use it towards a new phone on contract. I basically got quotes from all other options out there, trying to find the best deal with the most amount of security. I ended up going with a newer company called Orchard and got a nice $265 for my iPhone 5S. Their prices were higher than everyone else so I was surprised that it took me so much effort to find them. Anyone else check them out before? It's http://www.getorchard.com

Seems fair to me, I just bought an iPhone 5s 32gb for $250.
That's a very good offer actually. It's what they go for on After seller fees, paypal fees and shipping you are left with much less than $200.
Thank you!
