We already did a piece on the streaming service&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/bensbargains.net\/thecheckout\/bens-bytes\/next-three-months-netflix-shows-packed\/\" target=\"_blank\">original programming coming up in the next few months<\/a>.\u00a0<em>Bloodline<\/em>, starring Kyle Chandler as something other than a High School Football Coach, debuted just this week.<\/p>\n<p>But if you aren&#8217;t interested in watching Chandler handle anything other than a football and some overgrown teenagers, here are the most exciting new additions to the service in April, original and not (for the full list, unhampered by some random writer&#8217;s biases, jump below):<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Daredevil<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bensbargains.net\/thecheckout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/marvels-daredevil.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18504\" src=\"https:\/\/bensbargains.net\/thecheckout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/marvels-daredevil.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Marvel's Daredevil Netflix\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bensbargains.com\/thecheckout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/marvels-daredevil.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/bensbargains.com\/thecheckout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/marvels-daredevil-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bensbargains.com\/thecheckout\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/marvels-daredevil-1024x576.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Of highest consequence this month is, far and away,\u00a0<em>Marvel&#8217;s Daredevil<\/em>, the first of four planned Marvel shows exclusive to Netflix. If you don&#8217;t think that matters, you&#8217;re more blind than a lawyer in a skin-tight suit. Not mentioning that Disney, Marvel&#8217;s papa,\u00a0forewent airing\u00a0<em>Daredevil\u00a0<\/em>on its own wildly popular TV channel, ABC,\u00a0<em>Daredevil\u00a0<\/em>also represents the first of Marvel&#8217;s popular super heroes to hit the little screen after Disney&#8217;s takeover. It&#8217;s looking dark and intense, a freedom that Netflix offers over network television.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Halt and Catch Fire<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While plenty of non-original TV shows are hitting Netflix in April (the final season of <em>Sons of Anarchy<\/em>), it&#8217;s important to note those that are gracing the service for the first time. AMC&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Halt and Catch Fire,\u00a0<\/em>the dramatized imagining of the computer arms race of the 1980s, is one such show. Lee Pace is one of those guys you assume should star in stuff but he never does. Initially, his choice of lady-magnet was a car, and he was dubbed\u00a0<em>The Transporter<\/em>. Later he turned to drugs in\u00a0<em>Crank<\/em>, in which he had to keep his heart-rate at an extremely high level in order to keep living, sort of like\u00a0<em>Speed<\/em> with speed. It&#8217;s not a good movie. It&#8217;s a great bad movie. One of the greatest. There was even a sequel.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The Babadook<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a horror movie I know nothing about, but a lot of other people seem to think it deserves mentioning. I don&#8217;t watch horror movies. It sits at an astonishing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rottentomatoes.com\/m\/the_babadook\/\">98 percent on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>.\u00a0Did I mention it&#8217;s a horror movie?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>National Treasure<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/screen.yahoo.com\/weekend-cage-000000391.html?format=embed\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>To know why this exists, watch\u00a0<em>National Treasure<\/em>. Your life will never be the same.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the total list, as promised, including exact dates of release. As in the past, it isn&#8217;t set in stone that these are the only Netflix releases for the month.
