\"shut_up_and_take_my_money\"<\/a>Designed to help you keep your eyes on the road and away from your smartphone, the\u00a0Nadvy<\/a> is a small gadget that projects a heads-up display on your windshield while you are driving.<\/p>\n

By default, the image will show off your current speed, but can also perform functions like real-time driving directions, notifications for calls or texts, music playback information and sending tweets.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Nadvy connects to your iOS or Android\u00a0smartphone over low-power Bluetooth to accomplish these tasks and includes a camera to detect hand gestures. For instance, you can use a hand gesture to answer or hang up a call. There’s also a microphone included for voice commands and dictation of text messages. All phone notifications will be sent to the display, ideal for all types of mobile applications.<\/p>\n

At the moment, the Nadvy isn’t available at retail. Expected to ship during early 2015, consumers can preorder the device<\/a> for 40 percent off ($299) the eventual retail price of $499. Be aware that this is a crowdfunded project similar to service like Kickstarter. It’s possible that the delivery date could be delayed due to unforeseen manufacturing issues, just like many Kickstarter projects.<\/p>\n
