Grumpy Cat has hit the Alabama art scene faster than a barefoot jackrabbit on a hot greasy griddle in the middle of August! Yee haw! Spongebobian colloquialisms aside, the Grumpy Cat Art Project is an actual ongoing event at the Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment center in Hunstville, Alabama.

Starting on May 27, local artists will auction off their takes on the extremely unhappy feline. Not in the Hunstville area? No problem. Interested art collectors can bid online in order to snag one of these pieces; hopefully ousting that boring family portrait you have hanging over the fireplace. (So long, Great Nana.)

Auction proceeds will go to the artists in addition to funding the development of a children’s playground at the Lowe Mill center. Utilizing a variety of mediums, Grumpy Cat appears in paintings, ceramic sculpture, stained glass, tissue paper, 3D sculpture, paper pulp, charcoal, wax, yarn, soap, copper and — still not joking here — chainmail.

You know what’s really awesome? The surprisingly high number of photos that come up when you type “awkward cat family photos” into Google Images. Like there were so many that only a fraction of them made it into this post — the ten absolute best of the best awkward of the awkwardEST. 10 Most Awkward Cat Family Photos

It had to happen at some point, right? Forget the Disney Princesses as fierce Jedi warriors. Combining Grumpy Cat with classic scenes in Disney animated films is just brilliant. Developed by digital artist Eric Proctor (otherwise known as TsaoShin on DeviantArt), this collection of artwork inserts everyone’s favorite disgruntled feline into films such as The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and The Lion King.

Developed within Photoshop, these hilarious scenes will make you want a full animated feature starring good ole Tardar Sauce. After earning some magic Internet points at Reddit, Proctor plans to continue the series with a scene from Tangled and Beauty and the Beast. For nearly 5 years, the Three Wolf Moon T-Shirt (price varies) at Amazon has been the single most important garment in the universe outside of Michael Jackson’s sequin glove and Indiana Jones’s hat.

The Three Wolf Moon T-shirt was famously reviewed in November 2008 by law student Brian Govern, beginning with these immortal words:

Size issues…: The shirt itself is quality, however, I ordered a medium and although it said medium on the tag, it was huge. Very boxy. When held up to a standard medium it was at least 2-3 inches longer and wider.

3D printers are controversial, too, which naturally ratchets up their coolness vibe. Yes, they can make real guns (Brazilians love it), but they still can’t make building bricks as good as LEGOs. Go figure.
