    What is wrong with people. 8GB ram on a gaming laptop. No thanks. Would never buy anything less than 12 with windows 10, 16 preferably.

    You aren't wrong...but for 1080p gaming at $450 on a 1650, 8GB will get the job done in a crunch...for now and for older / esports titles. Plus, you can always add a stick in a year, at least per this review: "This laptop comes with a Samsung 8Gb 3200mhz sodimm. That's 1 module. which is ideal for me so I can just another module to make it 16Gb. I think the description says 4Gb x2 which is inaccurate."

    I'd rather buy one with only 8GB instead of 16GB as long as there is still an empty slot to upgrade.

    You can pick up 8GB memory cheaper in the aftermarket than if you bought a system equipped with it. Granted, I'm talking historically at regular sale prices. Once you get into especially low sale prices or refurbs, all bets are off.

    This is a GREAT deal. Can get 16GB RAM later, but that Nvidia 1650 with 4 GB of video in a $450 laptop is a no-brainer for a non-gaming laptop; which is what I'm in the market for.

    UPDATE: Out of stock. never mind.

    i grabbed 2 for my kids. Note USB C on this is for data only and won't take HDMI. It comes with 1 HDMI so you can hook up 1 monitor to it. Just not 2 via USB C which i intended. Still keeping it. Fast and performs real nice.
