I don't actually see the words "unlocked" which means it may only work on Tracfone (I forget if 3rd party carriers require 6 months, or is it a year, before they unlock?). But it's a moot issue because OOS.

Thanks for pulling up that legal detail -- I assume the 12-month lock-in would apply to this phone, even if it says "no contract" (how disingenuous is that?).
The irony is that we're actually on Total Wireless, and IIUC, Total, Trac, and who is the third one? Oh yeah I think it's Straight Talk. Anyway I understand that they're interoperable, that is, you can simply ask one of those three MVNO's to allow your phone to work on the other two (which is all Verizon towers anyway). Or perhaps it's the case that they're owned by the same parent?
