It amazes me that devices like this actually have a following. Must be people either with too much disposable cash, or people who hate decent mobile phones.

Audio nerds but LGs make a V series with best audio chips. V20 V30 V35 ( and newer). iPhone not able to do HD audio which seems crazy.

I've reviewed my fair share of audio equipment. For some audiophiles, these devices can have their uses.

That said, I got the LG V20, then the LG V30+ and I really no longer have a need for a MP3 player. I'm just going to continue with the LG V line.
