My wife got me these last year. They work fairly well for making calls. The sound quality for music is not that great. You can used to it but your initial reaction will be yuck (for music)

A couple of years ago, i saw these at a runner expo and thought they were intriguing but they were asking full retail price (~$150??).

Thanks for the review, moeron.

I love mine for cycling. I can still hear everything around me. Call quality is good, some callers can't even tell I'm moving on a bike. Music quality is decent enough for my workout needs. Bought a pair for a co-worker, he loves them too. Guess there is a newer model out now too.

My husband has a similar model (maybe newer?) by this brand and loves them for bike commuting to/from work. I bought him this pair in case he ever loses the other pair! :)

OK, I'll give 'em a try... Price seems fair enough to test the bone conduction waters.

My main reason for using them is so I can listen to music without bothering my office mates. They sound better than speakers set at a "polite" volume. They're way more comfortable than earbuds and over the ear headphones. They're safer for your hearing. The call quality is excellent.

I bought my, nearly deaf, mother a pair of bone induction headphones from another brand which came with a transmitter that connects to her tv headphone jack and she was amazed that she could hear sounds she hasn't heard in years.
